Cyprus to rebuilt fire-ravaged Artemida village in Greece

The government of Cyprus has decided to rebuilt the Greek village of Artemida in Peloponnesus which was devastated by the ongoing forest fires in the country and construction will begin as soon as possible.
Government spokesman Vasilis Palmas said after the cabinet meeting on Wednesday afternoon that the village of Artemida was proposed by the Greek government.
He also conveyed the government’s appeal that all money collected to be deposited in the accounts which the government of Cyprus has opened, so that after Artemida is rebuilt, “we can try to reconstruct one more village”.
Palmas said that as soon as the Greek government sends the necessary information required, the Cypriot government will start the construction work.
