Marfin to invest USD 10 billion in green economy

According to the Greek economic journal Kefalaio (Capital), the Marfin group is preparing to invest USD 10 billion in Greece in the green economy sector.

Marfin has reached an agreement with a major French bank. The investment will go through a joint venture in which Marfin is to control 49 per cent of shares, and will be made for activities ranging from solar panels and other sources of renewable energy, to waste management and recycling.
