Trump Group looking into Greek real estate

“Trump Organisation” is looking into the Greek real estate market focusing on Athens and islands with the intention to invest in the development of hotels, residential and vacation blocks.
“We are very much interested in SE Europe. We are already developing to towers in Istanbul and we want to come to this beautiful country,” the Group΄s vice-president said in the bounds of a conference, adding that the Group is focusing in general in distressed assets.
On the other hand, Russian real estate people say that the Greek law is a severe obstacle to the interest shown by Russian real estate businessmen.
“Greece is very popular among Russians. Unfortunately, Greek law has created a very complex procedure for a foreigner to buy a property,” the head of the Russian department of the International Federation Real Estate (FIABCI) said.
